 Awakening the Dreamer - Changing the Dream Symposium


If you are ready to be inspired and moved to action, if you are ready to be introduced to a thriving community of like-hearted, deeply committed cohorts who are actively engaged in working for a more sustainable society, we invite you to come to the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium.

What:  The Awakening the Dreamer, Change the Dream Symposium explores the link between environmental sustainability, social justice and spiritual fulfillment. This multi-media event uses short films featuring some of the world's most respected thinkers, and dynamic group interactions, to share new insights into opportunities to shape and impact the direction of our world with our everyday choices and actions.

When: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2008: (check in 11am-12:45pm)
           6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Extended networking
 
Where: Energy Trust Better Living Show 
            Expo Center, Room D202-204

Cost: $25 in advance; $30 at the door  (Tickets are limited, please register online)

Parking and Transportation: Parking is $7 per space, per day. Carpools of three or more are $6. But why drive when the Max takes you right there?  The Interstate MAX Yellow Line stops at the expo center. Find more transportation information at

Background:  The Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium is an inspirational educational program developed by the Pachamama Alliance in response to the accelerating degradation of the earth. The short films feature philosophers, scientists, and community leaders including Brian Swimme, Matthew Fox, Thomas Berry, Desmond Tutu, Lynn Twist, Paul Hawkin and Van Jones.  Over 10,000 people have attended these symposiums in the past few years.
