- Speakers will address local food systems and what each of us can do to support a more sustainable and healthful food supply. Workshops will cover what we can do to live more healthfully, drawing upon the power of individual choice and action to address environmental health and food concerns. We’ll also learn from Port Townsend, WA grassroots efforts to create a more vibrant and sustainable local food economy.
- Weekend will include local farm and community garden tours, place-based exercises celebrating the bounty and beauty of the Pacific Northwest, networking, and inspiring workshops on food, health, building community, discussion group organizing and more.
